Fascinating Netravali Bubbling Lake Goa

Netravali Bubble Lake, also known as Bubbling Lake or Budbudyanchi Tali. It is a geological wonder that interest both locals and tourists. It is believed that the lake sits on top of a volcanic vent. Which releases carbon dioxide gas into the water which results into the bubbling effect.

Bubbling Phenomenon

As you approach the lake and starts clapping you will notice the bubbles being rising from the lake. These gas bubbles, formed due to the volcanic activity underneath, lend a surreal ambiance to the surroundings. The bubbling phenomenon is most pronounced during the monsoon season when the water levels are higher.

Shree Gopinath Devasthan Temple

The Gopinath temple is a very small temple right Infront of the Budbudyanchi Tali. It is home to lord Shiva. The temple is build by Kadamba dynasty the same empire who build the temple Tambdi Surla. The Kadamba king Jayakeshi-I not only build this temple but also did the renovation of Budbudyanchi Tali during 9th and 10th century.
